have a total of 12 rooms surrounded by forest and a
hummingbird, and butterfly garden. Our rooms are fully
furnished with exclusive ironworks and Costa Rican pottery.
Each one has two double beds, private bathroom, and
hot water. Wide balconies offer beautiful views to the
forest. |
We
offer our visitors a reference library with books on
natural history and research documents on our Preserve.
Our dining room offers to our guests delicious homemade meals of
gourmet Costa Rican typical dishes, natural drinks, and premium coffee,
with a 180-degree angle view to the butterfly garden and the forest. We
offer you vegetarian, vegan and other special dietary dishes on previous
request.

How to get to Bosque de Paz Lodge? *
San José Intl. Airport- Naranjo- Zarcero- BOSQUE DE PAZ LODGE.
Distance about 1-1/2 hour. We recommend to come before dusk.
Take the Pan-American Highway. You will find an exit to Naranjo, take this exit, and then you take the road to the town of Zarcero. You will find the famous Park in front of the Catholic Church, take a right at one side of the church. The distance from here to Bosque de Paz, is about 25 minutes, 14 Kms. You will pass two small villages Palmira and Pueblo Nuevo. 2 kms. after Pueblo Nuevo, you will find a Y. Please take the road to the right. Please, continue ten more minutes, until before to cross a small bridge. At this point, you will see to the left a wood sign “Bosque de Paz Reserva Biológica”, the guard house, and a closed gate.
